These are just a few of the things that have been said about singer/songwriter, Sammi Moore and her soulful, country voice. Her sexy, sassy, signature sound is a hybrid of southern rock, country, Americana, and pop. "CCR meets Skynyrd meets Sugarland." Sammi originates from a small town just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee but has called Nashville her home for the past 7 years.

Sammi grew up an athlete and self-admitted tomboy in a family of musicians. She did not even consider music an option until a string of talent competition wins she did for scholarship money. Sammi then started playing country and bluegrass music around the southeast and was quickly noticed by RCA records. Soon after, she broke into the Nashville music business by placing top 12 in season 5 of USA Network’s Nashville Star.

In 2009, Sammi signed her first publishing deal with Studio 33 Music and has had the opportunity to work with some of the best songwriters in country music (Steve Dean, Danny Wells, Brian White, and Sandy Ramos to name a few). Sammi has even been featured in several national newspapers and magazines, including the Nov. issue of SPIN magazine for placing second in the national, Midas Sponsored ”Rock The Highway Road Song Competition.” Most recently, she took a top standing in the SingerUniverse “Best Vocalist of the Month” Competition for the month of April 2011.

Sammi is also a frequently booked demo singer and model that somehow still finds time to put on a show. Moore has played more than 50 shows a year, everywhere from the finish line of the Music City Marathon to the National Youth Summit to the Billy Block Show. She has opened for some of the best along the way, including The Marshall Tucker Band, Chris Cagle, Big and Rich, James Otto, Craig Morgan, David Allen Coe, John Michael Montgomery, Exile, and the Kentucky Headhunters.
